1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using ElectriCheck (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

ElectriCheck provides an AI-powered tool designed to:

  • Support visual assessment of electrical installations
  • Generate explanatory text based on what is visible in uploaded images
  • Allow export of reports (for example, PDF or Word format)

ElectriCheck is currently in beta. Features, limits and behaviour may change, be added or be removed at any time without prior notice.

3. Not a Replacement for Licensed Electrical Work

ElectriCheck provides visual observations only. It does not perform:

  • Electrical testing or measurements
  • Verification of compliance with standards or regulations
  • Inspection, certification or sign-off of installations

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Final assessment and decisions must always be made by a licensed electrician or other appropriately qualified professional on site.
  • ElectriCheck is not responsible for on-site conditions, outcomes or regulatory compliance.
  • Reports and outputs are advisory only and may contain inaccuracies or omissions, especially where images are incomplete, low quality or unclear.

Reports generated by ElectriCheck are intended to support visual documentation and discussion, not to replace statutory obligations or professional judgement.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

  • Provide accurate information when creating an account
  • Upload only images and content you have the legal right and permission to use
  • Not upload content that is offensive, unlawful, harmful or deliberately misleading
  • Not attempt to misuse, disrupt, probe or bypass the security of the Service
  • Not reverse engineer, resell or repackage the Service

You remain fully responsible for the images and information you upload, and for how you choose to use any reports generated by the Service.

5. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account

If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, you must notify us as soon as possible so that we can help secure it.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features of ElectriCheck may be offered on a paid subscription basis in the future. When this occurs:

  • Prices will be clearly displayed before you subscribe
  • Billing periods and renewal terms will be explained at checkout
  • Refunds will only be provided where required by the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law

We may adjust pricing or plan structures over time. Where these changes affect existing subscribers, we will aim to provide notice in advance.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title and interest in and to the Service, including the ElectriCheck branding, user interface, templates and underlying software, are owned by us or our licensors.

You retain ownership of:

  • The images you upload
  • Your own notes and project information

We grant you a licence to use the reports and outputs generated by the Service for your internal business, professional or client work.

You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce or redistribute the Service or any substantial part of its code, design or branding
  • Use ElectriCheck branding in a way that suggests you are the owner or operator of the platform

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ElectriCheck and its owner are not liable for:

  • Electrical incidents, injuries, property damage or compliance breaches arising from any use or reliance on the Service
  • Loss of profits, loss of business, data loss or other indirect or consequential damages
  • Interruptions, delays or failures caused by third-party providers, including Supabase, Vercel, Google Gemini, MailerSend or other infrastructure services

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without guarantees as to accuracy, completeness or suitability for any particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.

9. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

  • You materially breach these Terms
  • Your use of the Service creates a security risk or operational risk
  • We are required to do so by law, regulation or a competent authority

You may request deletion of your account at any time. We may retain certain records where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, accounting and audit).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, except where other mandatory laws apply.
